Tribune News Service | Chandigarh, October 11: Self-styled god woman Radhe Maa is in controversy again. Bollywood actress Dolly Bindra has sent a complaint to the Chandigarh Police alleging that Radhey Maa and her supporters sexually assaulted her.
Earlier, Mumbai-based model Arshi Khan had accused Radhe Maa of running a sex racket. Arshi Khan told media persons at a press conference that Radhe Maa’s business manager or PA approached her and offered her “good monetary remuneration” for performing sexual services for their contacts and clients”.
Police sources said the complaint was received from Mumbai at Police Headquarters, Sector 9. The complaint has been marked to Sector 36 police station for investigation. Inspector Ram Dayal, SHO, Sector 36 police station, confirmed that they have received a complaint for investigation. Police said the place and time of crime has not been mentioned in the complaint. “We are going to call the complainant to Chandigarh to join the investigation,” the SHO said.
Police sources said they will first investigate the matter before further proceedings. “We will have to conduct a detailed inquiry into the complaint,” said a police official. This is not the first time when the self styled god woman is in trouble. In August 2015, videos of Radhe Maa’s devotees carrying her around during satsangs went viral online.
A police complaint was lodged against her for obscenity, running a business disguised as religion, fraud and cheating. She was also banned from the Nashik Kumbh mela by Swaroopanand Saraswati of Dvaraka Pitha and Mahant Gyandas, the president of Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad.
Dolly Bindra was known for creating scenes during the Bigg Boss in 2010 (fourth season), reality show, where she was a contestant. She also went against Veena Malik publicly denouncing her appearance on a reality show. Dolly Bindra who was once a devotee of Radhe Maa.
