Model and actress Arshi Khan is promoting the National Sports Forum of India- NSFI and MUSC organized NSFI Nepal Earthquake Relief Cricket Tournament in Mumbai. Her outfits and wardrobe is from Flynn Remedios designs or FRD collection.
The NSFI in association with the MUSC (Mumbai United Sports Club) has announced two, two-day cricket tournaments in Mumbai on 8th & 9th May. These two, two-day events are both charity events with the winning teams donating the prize money to the Nepal Earthquake Relief Support Fund. The NSFI will invite actors, celebrities and fashionistas to support and encourage the young, budding cricketers. A major highlight of the event will be an Under-16 boys versus Bollywood actors friendly cricket match to raise funds for the Nepal Earthquake victims.
NSFI and MUSC are also holding Summer Cricket and Football camps for youth in the western suburbs of Mumbai.
Sandhya Singh, spokesperson for the NSFI said, “We have currently announced two, two-day tournaments andsix training camps and depending on the response from the youth, we will organize more training camps during May 2015. Young boys and youth from 10 years to 25 years of age can enrol themselves as members of the MUSC and participate in the summer camps and tournaments.”
The MUSC will invite several State and National level cricketers and football players to interact with the youth at the camps, said Shehzad Kotwala who is also a coach for the junior football team. Residents of Andheri East and West, Vile Parle, including Juhu, Seven Bungalows, Yari Road, Four Bungalows, Oshiwara, Millat Nagar, Lokhandwala, Jogeshwari and nearby areas can participate in the training camps which will be held in the vicinity of Juhu, Lokhandwala and Oshiwara in the morning and evening. The MUSC has announced several incentives for deserving candidates including Free Coaching and special training along with cash incentives for the top 5 candidates.
